Hope Rising is an original work for band composed by David Betancourt in response to the shootings at Parkland in 2018.  It pays homage to the victims and honors the students that rose up and demanded change.  Diamond Bar High School has one of the premier music programs in the state of California.  The instrumental program is directed by Mr. Steve Acciani, who also directs the wind ensemble.
